Ciència-ficció, acció i drama es combinen a través de la història de la Sarah, una jove òrfena que és testimoni del suïcidi d'una noia idèntica a ella. Després d'aquesta experiència, la Sarah decideix suplantar la identitat d'aquesta noia i viure com si fos ella. Aquesta acció, però, tindrà conseqüencies i farà que es trobi enmig d'una conspiració sobre clons d'humans.
